The work is first introduced with Macaulay's 'Life of Samuel Johnson&apos. Edited by Matthew Arnold, an English poet and cultural critic who is regarded as a sage writer. He was the son of Thomas Arnold, the headmaster of Rugby School and served as an inspector of schools in support of state-regulated secondary education. In full calf prize binding.
