Leipzig, Johann Friedrich , 1771. Hardback. A well preserved copy of this German church book, containing the Gospel and Epistles, the Lutheran church agenda, marriage order and general prayers. In the original German. With an introduction by Friedrich Simon Loeffler, a German Protestant-Lutheran theologian and author. Loeffler was the nephew of the German philosopher, mathematician and historian Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Collated complete. With an engraved frontispiece. With the stamp of someone by the name 'De Salis' to the verso of front endpaper with the coronet of a count above the name.
