Timothy George Kirkbridge (1931-2015) worked in sales for Dunlop Rubber Co, India, and for Johnson Firth Brown, where he became Chairman and later Director of the Non-Ferrous Division. Loosely inserted type written slip in back reading: "The Descent into Erewhon Is taken from the descent into the Ticino". Slight foxing to endpapers.
