Pp.xviii/301, frontispiece + 7 further black & white photo plates, inscribed by the author "Inscribed for Edith Freeman with greetings & best wishes. Vera Brittain. February 17th 1941" to front free endpaper, slight toning to front free endpaper. Red cloth, bleached to top of spine affecting title and also to base of spine. Dustwrapper darkened and worn with edge losses to top and tail of spine corresponding to bleached areas of boards. G+/Fair.
