The Foster and Keiser Company was founded in 1901 by Walter Foster (1871 - 1944) and George William Kleiser (1874 - 1952) in Seattle and Portland and it would, arguably, be outdoor advertising's pioneer - credited with shifting the advertising industry from pasting posters on available surfaces to usung standardized structures and enhancements. Gaining rapid success, the company would expand with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and all along to Pacific Coast, as well as eastward towards the Atlantic seaboard and would employ several notable figures, including Maynard Dixon (1875 - 1946) - considered one of the finest artists focused on the American West. The company would also develop authoritative traffic-flow and traffic-pattern studies and would publish various maps on the subject. The booklet described the business, its goals and achievements, etc. . Very good .
