First edition; 9 x 6; pp. [30]; brown wraps, printed in black and held with two brats (as published); a bit of wear along spine and minor creasing to corners; in very good condition. Written in the form of eight letters, month by month, on every aspect of the pregnancy and preparation for the baby, it was penned by pediatrician, health educator, and one of the first women to graduate from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Josephine Hemenway Kenyon (1880 - 1965). Taking position with Good Housekeeping as a popular scientific authority, she directed the Health and Happiness Club - a correspondence service for expectant mothers, sending them letters on prenatal and later infant care. Very good .
