Founded in the 1880s by Louis W. Bunde (1858-1936), the company would become one of the premiere jewelers, watch-makers, and stationers in Milwaukee at the turn of the century. The largest jewelry retailer in the state, they would also open a branch in New York, dealing only in fresh water pearls found in the rivers of Wisconsin. Very good .
