Title: Keep Your Dog Frisky with Friskies (Magic Trick)
Description: S. l. Albers Milling Co. 1953. First Edition. Complete set; 3 3/4 x 9; single sheet of green card stock, folded lengthwise; six "coins," illustrated with cartoonish dogs and two cards, all with small perforations along edges for easy removal; a few faint creases, else minor wear; in very good or better condition. An advertisement for Friskies dog food and most probably a free giveaway with purchases, the magic trick was designed by magician Robert "Bob" Haskell (1914 - 1972) and involved hidden coins appearing from under one card. Though Friskies was a brand name of the Carnation Company, the trick was copyrighted by the Albers Milling Company of Portland, Oregon (presumably as a distributor of Friskies). Very good .
