Title: A Photographic Essay of a Capitola Cat (Signed by the Author)
Description: Capitola, California, Hertel Books, 1993. First Edition. First edition; 8 x 7 3/4; pp. [4], 1-57; white, pictorial wraps; illustrated with photographs; light wear and very minor dust-dulling to margins of back wrap; in very good to near fine condition. Signed and dated by the author. A wordless tribute to an "extra ordinary" cat - Morris - "who lived on the Esplanade in Capitola-by-the-Sea (a small coastal town on California's Monterey Bay), it followed his life through photographs by various people, who had come in contact with him. One day he had shown up out of nowhere and had made the Esplanade his home, hanging out with the patrons of cafes and restaurants, sleeping on top of visitors' parked cars (specifically preferring polished, glossy ones), strolling on the beach, etc. Very good .
