Fourth Edition 1875.This is a Good Only Copy of this book in Original green pictorial cloth boards with lettering to spine and upper cover blocked in gilt.There is one previous name to the front pastedown and one small 1.5 cm of drawn picture of Phileas Fogg to the front endpaper and along with former owner's name twice to the same page.In addition there is one tiny bookseller's ticket of 'Librairie Galignani Paris' to the top edge of the front pastedown.The outer boards are rather rubbed and worn to extremities and to the spine tips with some fraying to cloth at edges,bevelled edges to the outer boards,corners are rubbed.Illustrated and complete with all plates present including frontispiece of 'Phileas Fogg' There is some s[poradic foxing spots mostly to the page margins and occasinally to the rear of the plates.All the page edges are in gilt.A rare and classic Verne title that tells the story of Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a £20,000 wager (approx £1.6 million in today's money) set by his friends at the Reform Club.
