Overall VG (some rubs & scuffs to boards & leather/early 19th ownership sigs on tp/some minor foxing throughout/faint stain to frontis & title of Vol I/lacks half-titles). Walpole, Fourth Earl of Orford, the famous founder of the Strawberry Hill Press. He intially intended to self-publish his works in 1770, but the project languished, and was not finished until after his death. Contains much previously unpublished material.
