Description: London: Wightman Mountain & Andrews Ltd Printers 31 & 33, Victoria Street, S.W. (n. d.). Early, if not 1st, printing (Bolton NN197), ca 1927. Glossy white paper covers printed in black & white, stapled. "Six Pence" sticker to covers. Now housed in a clear archival mylar sleeve. Unpaginated, though 6 pages. Front cover with 2 images, one from NN, one from George Barnwell's Contrition. 12mo. 8-1/2" x 5-3/8" A short-lived performance of this adaptation, with Bolton noting this as the only London run, with the initial performance of 2 June 1927 [a date in this program of 14 June]. In this performance, Wilfred Shine was Vincent Crummules, and Robert Haslam was Nickleby. Age-toning & soiling to covers, with rusted staples. Dampstain along lower edge. An Abt VG survivor.
