VG+ The 1873 Vienna World’s Fair took place in the Austria-Hungarian capital from May 1 to October 31, 1873. The fair's motto was "Culture and Education", and it attracted over 7 million visitors. Century Whiskey, distilled by Moorehead & Thurber of Kenton, Co. Kentucky, was the only whiskey, of 4 contestants, to be awarded the Medal & Grand Diploma, "the others only receiving second class medals." The booklet is comprised primarily of testimonials, with Century concluding with the advisement, "The Century Whiskies are now sold in every State and Territory in the Union.".
