The right block, under Nightingale's photograph, summarizes Nightingale's unselfish approach to others, and her sense of duty to the nursing profession. Illustrated with 2 albumen photographs, one of Nightingale, and the other of Lea Hurst, her Derbyshire home. Frame: 19" x 15". Broadside: 9-1/2" x 10". Attractive presentation, some small bits of debris behind the glass, overall Nr Fine. NB. Not examined out of the frame. Uncommon item for the Nightingale afficiando.. we find no record of this item in the usual references.
