Black leather spine label. Red edgestain. [2], 182 pp. 12mo. 7-1/4" x 4-1/2". 1" piece of leather lacking at top of spine. Joints a bit tender. Evidence of bookplate removal to front paste-down, with circular Lord Orford booklabel affixed over. Age-toning & soiling to text paper. An About VG copy. From ESTC, we find this "an expanded version of the text earlier issued anonymously under various titles." A penciled note to the ffep states "From Lord Orford's collection of Jacobite pamphlets".
