Very Good. An anonymous publication commenting, mostly unfavorably, on the two Democratic candidates for US Congress, James H. Barry and Superior Court Judge William T. Wallace in San Francisco. Wallace was a former California Supreme Court judge and the sitting Superior Court Judge. Apparently he lost the election and was appointed San Francisco's Police Commissioner. Barry owned the Star newspaper and was a tireless campaigner against corruption and for electoral reform. Barry's papers are at the Bancroft Library at UC Berkeley [BANC MSS 96/186 c]. A rare publication documenting the political atmosphere of this election. No copies listed on OCLC.
