A VG copy, dust jacket has some major chipping to edges - large piece ripped off the lower wrapper, light soiling to boards, spine a bit sunned, white lettering is still bright, edges and corners rubbed, light fraying, age toning to edges of leaves, inscribed on ffep in black ink (possibly by Christopher Morely, as the "M" is styled in a similar way as in his signature), also small ink marking to ffep in blue ink, possibly previous owner, over all clean and bright. Inscription reads "M. M. - Frank. F. --and C. M. - Oct 1939".
