The author offers abundant scriptural evidence in denouncing local, state and federal laws licensing distillers, brewers, and saloons while calling on his fellow Christians to wage battle, at the ballot box, on behalf of national prohibition. Rare piece of late 19th C temperance literature; we find no copies recorded on OCLC.
