Now housed in a clear archival mylar sleeve. 8 unnumbered pages. 9 photographic images printed in very dark green ink, of scenes at Kanyonkrag and Sohlohnee. 4-3/16" x 6-1/4". Slight wear, minor external soil. Internally clean. VG+. Caspar Wistar Hodgson was the founder of The World Book Company, as well as an ardent naturalist and owner of two remarkable estates: Kanyonkrag, in New York, and Sohlohnee ranch, a former Indian rancheria in California's Sierra national forest, about 12 miles from Yosemite. This brochure/ New Year's greeting includes scenes of the Hodgson family and grounds primarily at Kanyonkrag, with two depicting the "Yosemite Rancheria." Uncommon. We find none in the trade or institutionally.
