Description: [Philadelphia]: [The City of Philadelphia City Committee], 1898. White bifolium with blue lettering and embossed emblem to front cover. Now housed in an archival mylar sleeve. Unpaginated, 4 pages. Affixed to a large sheet of scrapbook paper. 7-1/2" x 4-3/4". Light general wear, center crease, toning; time and date of even in ink to title leaf. Bifolium reversed with pg 3 now acting as pg 1, pg 2 affixed to a larger sheet of scrapbook paper. Scrapbook paper contains long ink inscription detailing the occasion for the reception / dinner. Menu includes chicken croquettes with peas, fried oysters, ginger ale, and apollinaris.
