Unpaginated, though 8 pages. Illustrated with 7 photographic-style images. Rear wrapper with facsimile Dickens signature. 8" x 5". General wear & soiling to wrappers, which faintly show a horizontal fold-line. Center bifolium detached at lower staple. Very Good. A publisher prospectus for this new 30 volume set of Dickens' works, wherein this set is noted as having the following special features: "Composite Life of Dickens", drawing on Forster, Marzials, Ward & others; "Full Introductions", "Critical Comments, Arguments", selections from his periodical appearances, as well as selections of "Letters, Speeches, Plays, and Poems." The set also contains "a set of twelve new drawings by J. C. Williamson, never before published." A rare, albeit minor, piece of Dickensiana.
