Lacks free eps. Period pos to top of t.p. Damping to lower corner of first 20 leaves, gradually diminishing. A Good copy of a book scarce in the trade. Grey, "Church of England clergyman and writer, was a man of many remarkable gifts, which found expression in widely varying ways. His most influential achievement was the composition of Memoria Technica, or, A New Method of Artificial Memory (1730), a book which was republished many times, with modifications, until 1861..
