Lacks ffep & "Z" plate. Prior owner signature of one "G. Furman, Brooklyn, L. I." C1 with 1.5" horizontal tear [no loss]. Withal, a VG copy of a somewhat uncommon book. The volume the second part of a dictionary of sins covering the letters K-Z. The first part was published in Munich in the same year. The volume with the bookplate of Lucy Wharton Drexel, almost certainly that of the wife of Joseph Wihelm Drexel, and sister-in-law to Anthony J. Drexel, the founder of Drexel University. And of course, one can't help but wonder at the familial connection between the 19th C Drexel owner, with the 17th C Drexel author...
