Jean-Baptiste - Joseph Willart de Grécourt was a French ecclesiastic and poet born on February 7, 1684, in Vallières (now Fondettes) and died at Tours on April 2, 1743. He is from Scottish origin, had much talent as a preacher, but had to be put to an end after the scandal caused by a sermon in which he had made many serious allusions to several ladies of the city. Het went into poetry and pleasures. Engraving on laid paper, damaged. Total size 160 x 100 mm.
