The portrait is a copy after the painting by Jacques André Joseph Camelot Aved in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, inv.no.SK-A-880.Within inscribed oval frame.Inscription on the plynth below: Willem Carel hendrik friso Prince van Orang. en Nassau.Signed at bottom: Aved pictor R. gallia Christmi. pinxit / Balechou sculpsit.Collector's mark on verso: Dom.
