Motto inscribed on banderole: 'SICUT CERVUS DESIDERAT UMBRAM.'Unsigned.Dedication page from Hugo Franciscus van Heussen's: 'Batavia sacra, sive res gestae apostolicorum virorum, qui fidem Bataviae primi intulerunt, in duas partes divisa...cum typis aeneis,' published in Brussel by François Foppens in 1714. Frontispiece is PR121130. Etching on paper with letterpress with margins; plate mark: 203 x 144 mm, total: 341 x 211 mm; despite some yellowing on the margins, in great condition.
