Description: Wish card for Christmas and the new year to Mr. V. Cats from Essen. The card is printed in black and red inks on laid paper to which are added a couple of stamps, one in wax is also repeated on the envelope. The card is then folded and placed in a paper envelope. The postal mark has been removed. A red ribbon inserted within the paper on the bottom right corner. Blind stamp on red wax with a ship; on the sail: 'FORTUNA.'The card is printed in French and is dated at the bottom left in Roman letters.  Letterpress on paper, in color; letter total: 217 x 174 mm, envelope: 124 x 188 mm; some rubbing and a corner missing on the envelope, otherwise in very good condition.
