Description: Image featuring the various Dauphins du France, from the 14th to the late 17th century. Inscriptions on the top left and right corners.The historiographic research was conduced by Jacques-Louis Chevillard (1680-1751), who signed himself as Historiographe de France and Genealogiste du Roy.Signed on the bottom left: 'Gravé par T. Rousseau.' Etching and engraving on a very large sheet of paper; plate mark: 694 x 472 mm, total: 794 x 556 mm, folded into two; fraied most external margins, some rubbing and dirt, though in very good condition. Another copy is to be found at the National Library of France in Paris, in the Rotschild fund, 2493.20. Quite rare.
