With the crests of Weesp on the top left corner.This map was included in a wider representation featuring Muiden, Naarden and Vianen.This print originates from Lodovico Guicciardini's 'Descrittione di tutti i Paesi bassi / Beschryvinghe van alle de Neder-landen (...),' published by Blaeu or Janssonius, between 1612-1648. This was an influential account of the history and the arts of the Low Countries, accompanied by city maps by various leading engravers. Deys 2001. Etching on paper, cut within plate mark; total: 221 x 277 mm; blanco or no text on verso. Some light smudges on the margins, otherwise in good condition.
