Description: Monument in the form of a temple depicting all the decorations erected at the Alliance festival (with France) in Amsterdam on the 19th of June 1795. In the center a view of the popular festival celebrated on Dam Square in front of the City Hall.Inscribed at center: 'VRYHEUD BROEDERSCHAP GELYKHEID.' Etching on paper cut on plate on three sides; total: 552 x 493 mm; aging paper, some dirt and smudges, some minor tears on the margins, top corners with tape, a small stain on the right margin; some pencil annotations on the bottom margin; in fair condition. Muller 5416-b, van Stolk 5330-a.
