Description: Fifth plate from a set of eight landscapes with views in various provinces; this plate represents a view on the outskirts of Utrecht. Three high trees on the right beside a shed. A couple of fishermen on the bottom foreground beside a stream.Titled above: 'aen Uytrecht'; with number and address at the bottom: '5'. Signed on the bottom left corner: 'R. Roghman f.'[NL] Gezicht op een rivier (mogelijk de Lek) in de omgeving van Utrecht. Aan de waterkant bevinden zich twee vissers en op de dijk rijdt een ruiter. Op de achtergrond een ophaalbrug en de contouren van een kerk. Genummerd onderaan in de marge: 5. Etching on paper with margins; plate mark: 130 x 210 mm, total: 140 x 216 mm; only state, slightly yellowed paper on the margins; a vertical folding crease at center, otherwise in very good condition; on verso traces of ink from another impression of the same print; Pro Patria watermark.
