Description: Map of The Hague [plattegrond van Den Haag] with legends at the bottom corners, explaining the marked landmarks.Published by Isaak Tirion in Amsterdam. Used in 'Tegenwoordige staat der Vereenigde Nederlanden...' published in 1746 and in 'Beknopte atlas, van omtrent honderd platte gronden der voornaamste vestingen...' published after 1780. Etching on paper with some margin; plate mark: 173 x 217 mm, total: 205 x 330 mm; two vertical folding creases and, on the right, traces of binding. Some handwritten notes in pencil at bottom, otherwise in great condition.
