Description: Hand colored map of The Hague [handgekleurde plattegrond van Den Haag] with legends at the top and bottom left corners, explaining the marked landmarks.Published in Amsterdam by Hendrik de Leth, included in 'Nieuwe geographische en historische atlas van de Zeven Vereengde Nederlandsche Provintien', from 1740/1773. A '19' in pen and ink on the top left corner. Handcolored etching on paper with some margin; plate mark: 177 x 213 mm, total: 208 x 225 mm; the used shades are yellow, red, light blue and green; smudges and some browning on the bottom margin; a pin hole on the top left margin; a light stain on the top right corner, otherwise in good condition.
