Description: Installation for the fireworks lit on the tournament field at the Sint-Jorisdoelen in The Hague [Vuurwerk installatie in Den Haag bij de Doelen] on the occasion of the awarding of the Order of Knighthood of Saint George to Prince Willem V, 21 March 1754. In the center of the scaffolding a depiction of Saint George who defeats the dragon, left and right pots with orange branches. On the sheet below the plate a description of the scaffolding in Dutch and French.Titled below in letterpress: Afbeeldinge van het Vuurwerk, Den 21 Maart 1754, in 's Gravenhage, van wegens de Illustre en aloude Confrerie van den Ridder St. Joris, op het Tournoy-Veld, voor deszelfs Doele, afgestooken / Représentation du Feu D'Artifice (...). Etching and engraving on paper, text in letterpress; total: 324 x 415 mm; some dirt and smudges along the margins, some staining at bottom,  a vertical crease at middle; on verso two repaired tears; in fair condition.
