Description: Etching showing the funeral procession of Princess Anna van Hannover, buried in Delft, 23 February 1759. This print originates from 'Lyk-staetsie van haere Koninglyke Hoogheid Anna Kroon Princesse van Groot-Brittannien' (kroonprinses Anna van Groot Brittannië). The text describes the passage of the troops' procession in The Hague (Schutterij processie in Den Haag). Two lines of text below the image, in Dutch and French: 'De Schutterey van... Le Bourgeoisie...' Signed below: 'P.C. la argue ad viv del. / S. Fokke fecit.' Numbered at bottom right: '16.' Etching on paper, trimmed to plate mark; total: 194 x 398 mm; two small rust stains in the sky, possibly due to pins, some very light foxing otherwise in great condition.
