Description: Capture of Lochem by the army of Spinola, July 23, 1606. In the foreground, a flour cart invented by Pompeo Targone with which grain could be ground in the Spanish army camp. French inscription at the top, the Dutch translation at the bottom. Numbered on the bottom right corner: 24. The village of Lochem represented in the middle background with inscription LOCHUM above. Etching and engraving on paper with margins, two sheets joined together at center; plate mark: 228 x 317 mm, total: 314 x 386 mm; mounted in paper passepartout; despite some staining on the margins in very good condition.
