Description: Plate from the set of 105 etchings designed by Jacob Ernst Marcus and published monthly between November 1807 and July 1816. The plates consist in portraits and/or genre scenes. The prints that are signed and dated are later states. Being unsigned, this impression is, therefore, an early state. In 1834 the whole series was reprinted.Study of multiple heads on one sheet. The heads are turned in different directions and they are of men, women and children alike. Etching on paper with margins.
