A man walking the dog on the left.Inscribed on verso in pen and gray ink: Gezight van het Gooische gat van de zijde van 's Graveland afkomende.[NL] Gezicht op het Gooische Gat, vlakbij Hilversum. Enkele gebouwen aan de oever van een kanaal, met wat vee rustend op het veld. Links loopt een man die de hond uitlaat. Het gat in de stuwwal. Antieke tekening door onbekende maker. Drawing on laid paper, black chalk, brush in gray, washed in gray; total: 187 x 315 mm; light staining in the sky, otherwise in very good condition. Mounted on fine cardboard passepartout.
