Description: Bright impression of a signed dry needle by Erich Heckel, painter and printmaker. Born in Döbeln, Saxony he was founder member of 'Die Brücke' with Fritz Bleyl, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. In 1944 he moved from Berlin to Hemmenhofen on Lake Constance; between 1949-1955 he was professor at the Karlsruhe Kunstakademie. He died in 1970, in Radolfzell.One of the best artists of the Expressionism.Landscape with a river crossed by a wooden bridge, two naked men standing on the left bank.
