Description: Paper theater or diorama, made up out of several sheets representing different scenes. Together they form a three-dimensional view. Windows have been cut into the individual sheets to reveal details of the scene. The prints have been hand colored. Etchings and watercolor. Size of the sheets: 10,5 x 16 cm.This theatre spectacle consists of 6 sheets, numbered on the back. Complete set. The set shows a temple with pillars and geometrical stairs. Roman style. In the middle christ with some gueards above him, they wear helmets in roman style. On the ceilings some chandelier lamps (kandelaar lampen).The sheets are in good condition, the small paper parts are a bit fragile but still intact.
