Description: A collection of works by the Dutch Bernardus Verweij (1772-1835). Inscription of a former owner on title page: P. OuwehandVerwey came from a family of ministers. He was awarded three times by 't Nut, and once by 't Haagsch Genootschap, translated works by Ehrenberg and similar edifying authors, published a few occasional doctrines, and was long known for his works that were suitable for reading in the household, to which in his time great care was taken.
