Inscription of former owner on front board.The Muziekhistorisch Museum Scheurleer was a museum for musical instruments and music historical documentation in The Hague. It existed from 1905 to 1935 and was owned by the banker and music historian Daniël François Scheurleer. He opened his collection to visitors by appointment, such as researchers whom he guided through his museum.
