Description: Children's book, written in the form of a dialogue between father and son for the purpose of propaganda during the fourth Anglo-Dutch naval war. A reprint edition was distributed by the Germans in the first world war. The original edition was a warning for the English who occupied the Island of St- Eustatius – this new edition was used again to warn the Dutch for the English who would overrun Holland in the first World War. Contains references to the American Revolution. One plate depicts the plundering of S.
