Description: Rare publication on the oeuvre of French artist Raoul Dufy.Dufy is best known for his Fauvist paintings, but also worked as a printmaker and enjoyed experimenting with other mediums such as tapestry design and ceramics. This copy contains an original etching of Amphitrite (frontispiece) and numerous printed illustrations in color and black-and-white. It is a first edition after two hundred copies on Japanese paper, printed in an unknown limitation; this copy numbered 619. Original pictorial wrappers included in binding, with ex libris of M.J.
