Description: Two boys talking to each other. One is leaning against a fence and the other is sitting on top of it, more to the right. Two plates with the same scene in two states: the first with no background and the second with sea and sailing ships beyond the fence and cloudy sky. Monogrammed on the bottom left corner: WM. Marked in pencil respectively as first and second states at the bottom right corner of the sheets: 1st staat and 2de staat. Etching on paper, in chine collé; with margins; plate mark: 125 x 81 mm, total: 330 x 249 mm; in great condition. Kramm 1150.
