Description: View on Brittenburg from the sea, beween The Hague and Leiden. On the left side, the reconstruction of the original site. Used as illustration in Guicciardini's: Beschryvingh der Neder-landen; soo uyt Louis Guicciardijn als andere vermaerde schrijvers kortelijk voorgestelt, en met nieuwe bysonderheeden, t' zedert haeren tijdt voorgevallen, doorgaens verrijkt.: Hierbenevens sijn d'aenmerkkelijkste steden met haere aftekeningen verçiert.. Etching on paper with tiny margins, mounted on a reuse sheet of paper; total: 161 x 242 mm; two light brown stains on the bottom left region of the print otherwise in great condition. Large watermark with a bird (?). Not in F. Muller.
