Description: Landscape with ascending road on the right. Here, two countrymen are talking to each other. On the left, in the foreground, a waterfall, with a stone bridge with three arches behind it. The print is part of the set: “Seven oblong landscapes.” Numbered on the bottom right: '5'. Third state not documented in literature. Possibly reprint from the eighteenth century. Etching on paper with small margins; plate mark: 106 x 145 mm, total: 116 x 152 mm; state III/3 (?); traces of previous mounting on verso, in good condition; Hollstein 112.
