Description: Illustration from Spinneker's 'Leerzame Zinnebeelden', from one of the editions between 1714 and 1757. Two wells in a classical landscape, one providing good water and the other not. The original drawing is in Haarlem at the Teylers museum. Etching on paper with some margins; total: 110 x 141 mm; on verso text in letterpress; despite some light staining, in very good condition.
