Description: Four plates illustrating four combinations of letters with rococo decorations: masks, portraits, allegorical figures and so on. All plates are signed: 'G: Visscher inv t Schulp'. No title page; all the plates are numbered on the bottom right corner. Rare. Etching on paper with broad margins; plate mark: 150 x 198 mm, total: 175 x 220 mm; some rubbings and light dirt on the margins, some foldings and small tears on the corners and outer margins, otherwise in great condition. Not in Führing, not in Kramm, not in the Berlin catalogue of ornamental prints, not in Bonacini.
