Description: From a set of four plates, oriented upright, representing shepherds and shepherdesses on their paths to meadows, across water streams. Here a herd with a dog and three cows are crossing a ford. No letters and no numbers. On verso, collector's mark of 'PICTURA' in Groningen [L. 2028]. Etching on paper, trimmed within and close to plate mark; total: 178 x 229 mm; state I/4; browned paper, tear on the right margins, repaired with tape; dirt on the surface of the print; notes in pen and pencil on verso.
